EDF Renewables North America has signed a 20-year energy buy settlement with Southern California Public Energy Authority (SCPPA) for the power and renewable attributes associated to the 117 MW AC /148 MW DC Sapphire Photo voltaic challenge.  

Sapphire Photo voltaic will start supply of electrical energy to SCPPA’s taking part members, Anaheim, Pasadena and Vernon, by December 31, 2026. Along with photo voltaic manufacturing, SCPPA reserves the choice to a 59 MW AC, four-hour battery power storage system.
