
Photo voltaic PV producer Toledo Photo voltaic Inc (TSI) has been awarded $8.Eight million in federal funding by the U.S. Division of Power (DOE) Photo voltaic Power Applied sciences Workplace (SETO) to proceed its work on the commercialization of clear and semi-transparent photo voltaic glass merchandise for architectural home windows.
As part of its award from SETO, TSI and its companions will contribute a price share of $9 million, bringing the overall funding for the undertaking to $17.Eight million.
TSI says the event of semi-transparent photo voltaic glass will permit markets that make the most of conventional glass to include an power technology answer.
